yea, there were a few of us there. deb, hank, mikey and his wife were there. robbie showed up with nate afterwards. we stayed for like an hour of 80s night and then bailed.
i honestly wasn't super impressed with koffin kats. they kept spitting on each other, which just bothered me. and they had these llooooonnngg parts of their songs that would almost be called drum solos. they were like 10 minutes long. the sound was off too where all i could really hear was the drums. hard to hear any vocals, guitar, or bass. i heard them, but they were overpowered by the drums.
other bands were good, though. and it was good to get out.

The sound is all off in there right now because they pulled up the carpet and took out the risers in the back. They need to work the mix back out.
I had a good time. I got some good pictures, I'll post them up tomorrow.

well, the koffin kats were okay for what they played, but knock galley was really good. as usual. it was a good time. nice to get out on a sunday and still get home early enough that it didn't kill me getting up for work today.

Yeah, and the week after they did it, I went and bought insoles for my boots. Standing on the bare concrete was killing me.

it also gives a level of cushioning to your feet whilst kicking "someone" in the arse.

That, too. I should write the company and suggest that for their next commercials.

That, too. I should write the company and suggest that for their next commercials. you really should. since skinhead is apparently in "vogue" right now, it may be the start of skinhead commercials. on second thought, please don't.

No? You don't want to see skins hawking boot insoles and hair clippers? nor do i want to see a skinhead try and sell me on deoderant or dishwashing detergeant or tampons or toilette paper or have david cassidy do an infomercial on "the greatest oi! hits of the 80's". don't get me wrong, i'd love to see a "rebirth", or even just a surge in the movement, but not one fueled by commercialism.
