Y'all are driving me fucking nuts with this shit. Please, for my poor, overprocessing, editor's brain:
your = it belongs to you. ie, "this is your underwear."
you're = you are. ie, "why is it that you're not wearing any underwear?"
Now don't make me teach you the difference between they're, their, and there, because I will.

That's a good one.
Yeah, I'm not normally one to thump someone for their online grammar, but your/you're and there/their/they're bug the everliving shit out of me. They're not the same words! They don't have the same meanings!

okay, okay. i'm no "grammar nazi" like someone else (hehehehe!), however... i do have a pet peeve as well. yea - pronounced yay, meaning an affirmation. "all in favor vote yea, all opposed nay..." or even "yea! our team is losing. i hate those jock bastards!" yeah - slang for yes. "yeah, i agree. grammar nazis are lame." it never bugs me enough to give people shit over it, but i chuckle when i see it. of course this is also coming from a southerner that thinks the word "y'all" is an aboration. oh, and hank? it's spelled "textspeak". just thought you should know. ~ and now that we're all hating on each other....

I completely agree with you about yea and yeah, but it doesn't bug me enough to usually comment on.
And spelling? Spelling is a closed book to me.

eh, none of it really bothers me. i'm just poking fun at the poker. if someone can get their point across without sounding like a total jackass, they've done well enough. i mean damn, i'm a jackass enough! hehe!

I think what bugs me about your/you're is that it's not misspelled, it's a completely different word. It changes the meaning of what someone's saying.
