If this is the no more I am thinking of then they are pretty good. Kinda poopy but a lot of fun live. I just kinda doubt it is them. -shane

Yea they are but the band I am thinking of it has been 8 or 9 years since I have seen them, I would like to think if they have been around that long they wouldn't be playing the shed, they would be doing a little better for themselfs but who knows. -shane

Hell, The Shed is about the only real place in town to have all ages show besides the Beta Bar.

Yea but if you have been a band 8 or nine years wouldn't you think you would be playing the beta bar and probably with a good turn out. I am not knocking the shed, just saying you would think they would be going a little farther then playing for gas money. -shane

I'd say that the vast majority of bands, even after a decade, are still just playing local shows or for beer money. That's just how the scene works. Look at Convicted.

Not in a lot of the music I like. If a band is around that long they are doing a hell of a lot better than that. I think it is all in how good you are and how much work you are willing to put into it. Convicted was never up to tour or even really play out of town, that is why they went only as far as they did. If they had done more with it I think it would have opened more door and different things would have happened. -shane

It does all depend on what you put into it, but the vast majority of bands just sort of never go anywhere.
