anyone surprised by the democratic swing over the last 2 weeks? i really thought hillary was packing her bags in preparation for tribal council. but she still has her torch, so says jeff probst.
i saw an interview with this guy that says he is a republican but turned out to vote for hillary because he thinks the republicans have a better chance of beating her than obama. that's messed up. i wonder if that is part of what is going on. or if she is really getting a revival.
we'll probably find out who the democratic nominee is around halloween...

I know someone who is registered republican just so she can vote for the easiest one to beat, so that's nothing new.

maybe so. but it still seems shady. i'd rather vote for who i want to win than who i would rather beat. but maybe thats just me.

Well, she says she gets to do both - she's going to vote for a Democrat regardless of which one wins the primary, so she wants to throw whatever wrench she can in the Republicans' plans in the meantime. Seems sort of pointless to me, but it makes her happy.

yea, seems that way to me.
but if it keeps a republican out of office this year, then it was a good plan. i guess.
it just sucks that the republicans are now ready to gear up for november and the democrats are still playing grabass.

It just makes for more time for McCain to make it more and more obvious how much he's Bush's lackey these days. No one I know cares much for him, even the hardcore Republicans. They're waiting to see who he picks as VP.

i don't think i had hillary dropping out of the race quite yet, although obama did pull in some states that i never would have believed he could pull. but honestly, i'm getting sick of the whole damn race. i'm ready to opt for choice #3. none of the above. guess all the bullshit spin the media is spewing is getting to me. of course it's difficult to stop when the other party pretty much has the media in their pocket. i'm just tired of the democratic party allowing themselves to be portrayed as back-stabbing and petty, and it is starting to really get to me. this country is in desperate need of a new party. one with a spine.
i know i'll vote in the general election, if for no other reason than to attempt to keep mccain out of the office. but that being the primary reason to vote doesn't sit very well with me.
