Senate defeats abortion bill, 20-20Wow, the Florida Senate actually did the right thing (by the skin of our teeth). Also, Rhonda "Women use abortion or self-induced miscarriage as entertainment.” Storms can go right on to hell.

i think if they passed that law they should have passed a similar one to encourage birth control. every excited newly pregnant woman would have to look at a picture of george w. bush and be told "this could be your child". birth rates drop in half.

No kidding.
You know, in an era like ours, with people in our own country dying for lack of food and clean water, I don't know that a bunch of unwanted kids is really what we need.

it's sad to me that abortion is the answer to the problem though. i just have very mixed feelings about the subject, but i'll shut-the-fuck-up before i start showing my conservative colors.

i have mixed feelings about it as well. i would never do it as a means of birth control. meaning, if i knocked someone up, i would want to have the baby. but i would never want to litigate the right away from others to do what they want.

in younger days i just knew a few girls that needed that right litigated away. i mean, after 5 or 6 abortions wouldn't you at least consider more conventional methods of birth control?

Heck, I don't care if someone gets monthly abortions. If one is okay, so is 25. I have a strong feeling that anyone who can't manage regular birth control probably can't manage a kid, either. And adoption rates are going down at the same time that food and living expenses are going up.
The majority of fertilized eggs don't make it to full term, anyway, just naturally.
