im recovering from american gladiators. 2 full hours. and if possible, it got even cheesier.

No kidding. I liked that they put everything on steroids - the wall, the rings, everything was bigger. I also laughed my ass off at the fact that the eliminator now ends with a jump into water. That's sadistic.

the part that made me roll my eyes (yes, there was only one part that REALLY made me roll my eyes) were the "hey, lets get you pumped up. look at the big screen!" and then showing pictures of the single mom's kid holding up the "I <3 Mom" sign or whatever. oh my.

oh, and the obvious media whoring they were doing by admitting the paraolympian. i mean, damn.

I felt bad for the guy competing against him. Way to beat a cripple, dude.

i was just glad i watched it tivo'd. i got through 2 hours of AG in like 48 minutes. haha

I did dishes and stuff during the interviews and filler. I don't care what they have to say, just whether they can stand on a pole and not get smacked off of it by a giant in spandex.

But when that one chick shot the bazooka backwards and almost took out the cameraman? That was awesome.

hahaha yea that was great.that chick just should have walked away from that competition. i mean, it started with her misfiring the slingshot and then trying it again and not even getting it past the starting point. i mean, how hard is it to shoot a slingshot?

but then, how hard is it to shoot the bazooka the right direction?

i thought the new chick gladiator taht was the contestant winner last year (jet) kinda sucked. she better step up her game. and add like 30 pounds. she still looked like a contestant.

It takes a while for steroids to work, man, give her a chance. She did a good job slinging that one chick down the pyramid, I will say that for her.

Titan's thighs still scare the hell out of me.

I like that they bust their asses on these crazy games, and in the end none of it really matters. I mean, what good is a 3 second head start or whatever?

yea, i will say, she acted like a slingshot in pyramid. she was good there. you are right.

that other new chick, pheonix or whatever, kicked ass on that new event. holy hell. she was like taunting the competitors and still finishing it before they got halfway across. that was funny.

I didn't like that event. If there's no contact between the Gladiator and the contestant, who cares? They should be able to knock each other off somehow. Otherwise, of course the chick who's been doing that over and over for weeks on end will beat the newbie. It was a yawn for me.

do you remember the old shows? they had gladiators at the eliminator event, too. they should bring that back.

Yeah, I was wondering about that the first time I saw it. I'd be all for it. The more chances to see someone get knocked around, the better.

you can watch a rebroadcast of last night's show this friday. but i don't know if monday night is their normal night or not or if last night was just a special thing. i looked on teh site and didn't see the scheduling but i didn't spend a lot of time looking either.
