Who, in a fairly nearby way or on tour, would you like to see play at, say, St. Mike's.
So, do not say "Dropkick Murphys", dorks.

Agent Orange and TSOL are out touring right now. The supervillaings are going to be at big daddys in a week I believe.

I tried to get them something recently but every damn venue was shut down for whatever reason. It was while St. Mikes was renovating. Sure, they're fun guys.

That's exactly the problem. The scene's just not not big right now. The next show or two, we need to amp up the whole word of mouth thing, everybody bring a friend or two, make sure to flier at SAIL, etc.

and it helps to have it at the shed where sail kids can actually make it through the door. the 18+ thing isn't exactly helping the scene either.

no re-entry kills shows in general, too. if it's 18+ and no re-entry, you are going to have us that are on this board on the show and maybe 3 others there.

We're talking about a scene that's waxed and waned since the late 60s/early 70s. I don't think it's going to disappear completely any time soon.

nah, i'm not saying that. i don't see it disappearing either. it just could use a booster shot right now.
